This report was commissioned by KFH Land and New Homes division as part of their thought leadership programme. KFH asked us to quantify and evaluate walkable neighbourhoods in outer London, as the pandemic and rising sustainability agenda influenced home movers’ priorities towards well-serviced local neighbourhoods.

The analysis assessed and ranked 470 outer London neighbourhoods for their walkability based on the amenities planners consider to be an integral part of the 20-minute neighbourhood.

The report also identified those neighbourhoods with a potential for house price uplift. This was based on neighbourhoods with a good amenity ranking yet where average house prices are below the borough average.
